ARTIST STATEMENT
Daniel Hoefel is an interdisciplinary artist from Austria. He holds an MFA in Transmedia Arts from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. His practice incorporates mixed print media, site-specific installations and sculptures to explore the interplay between these humming environments. Seeing processes characterized as living archives with inner-resting echoes, encapsulated into materials, cultivated into oneself. Quote: “Never static or final, evoked by the feelings of space and ever-shifting nature. Harmonized by the findings and intrinsic abilities to transform language into us.“ End quote.
